This coming Wednesday, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is scheduled to release Consumer Price Index data for April. While major economists have posited that inflation has come down somewhat from its peak, it’s unclear how markets will react to this week’s inflation report.
Later today, the U.S. Consumer Price Index’s data release is expected to reveal how prices changed over the course of March 2022. Many analysts are estimating that American inflation could reach over 8%, a 40-year high.
